Way Beyond Bagels is in the midst of holding its first ever “What’s the New Way Beyond Bagel Flavor” contest on Facebook! We have accepted over 40 submissions for our potential new bagel flavor; we are looking for the most creative and inventive culinary mind to become the next great thinker behind Way Beyond Bagels. Voting for the contest begins on Facebook early this month so keep your eyes on our posts! Our “top 5 flavor” list will make its appearance pretty soon and then it is up to you to decide! You hold the power of what delicious creation will be filling your bellies, so make sure to get on Facebook and vote away! Share our posts, and get your friends in on the voting action as well. The bagel flavor that ends with the most votes will be our new featured bagel, and the person that submitted the idea will be treated to a free bakers’ dozen once a week for a month!

Our anniversary is not the only exciting thing going on during this time of year in the store! We are proud to introduce “Umpqua Oats” to our beloved community. Manufactured and produced in Oregon, Umpqua Oats are a delectable breakfast oatmeal that feature whole rolled oats!! We are selling a variety of flavors for the most adventurous and demanding pallets that include delicious ingredients such as mixed nuts, flax seeds, dried fruits, chocolate, peanut butter, coconut, pineapple, sea salt, brown sugar, cinnamon; the list goes on and on! For those of you who don’t like all the pizazz, plain Umpqua Oats are the way to go.
